Norman Osborn launches his next sinister scheme!

The Gathering of Five story arc begins here! The story gets off to a start, inside the mysterious Aleister building, home to the Technomancer Agency. Norman Osborn is negotiating terms with one of the members, Hamilton Cromwell. Osborn possesses four facets and a spindle, with the fifth facet belonging to Cromwell. He requires it to perform an ancient ritual, which will bring together The Five. The thought terrifies Cromwell, who refuses to hand over his piece of the puzzle.

Osborn then sends Gregory Herd, aka Override, to steal the final piece. He runs into Spider-man who is following him, but manages to create a distraction inside the Aleister building, and gets away. He then begs Osborn to allow him to participate in the ritual, hoping that it will grant him powers to cure his ailing wife Ann Herd, aka Aura. Osborn agrees.

Meanwhile Mary Jane gets a call from her former agent Ryan Sawyer, while Robbie Robertson is on a mission in Paris, seeking the elusive Alison Mongrain.
